I got to see John Lithgow's "Stories by Heart" play a few years ago and he was every bit as hilarious as he was back in the 90s.

drat Joseph Gordon-Levett was super young in this.

I still remember the episode where don mentions the irony that their names were Tom, Dick and Harry and facepalming that it completely went over my head. What episode was that?

Colorless green ideas sleep furiously.
Does anyone else remember the 3D episode? There was this silly gimmick circa '97 where a bunch of ABC shows (Home Improvement and I forget the rest - whatever aired the same night, probably) did 3D episodes for which you were supposed to first pick up a pair of 3D glasses from some fast food place as a marketing tie-in. The ABC shows used the red/blue style of glasses, and the 3D parts were very stupid, doing the cliché "ooooh the 2x4 on Tool Time is moving into the camera" thing.

Then Third Rock on NBC did its own 3D episode, also with glasses from a fast food place. But Third Rock used the style of 3D where the glasses are just tinted gray, and their episode was loving awesome. It was about the family dreaming for the first time, each dream was in a different art style, and the 3D effects were all subtle and clever effects layering objects in the background and manipulating the depth of focus. It looked cool on its own without the 3D but fantastic with it.

I don't remember having that strong an impression of the show except that it was an above-average '90s sitcom with good acting, but that episode still stands out in my memory.

I was baffled to see French Stewart play a military strongman in the Stargate movie.

Newsradio was extremely ensemble where the writing and everyones performances was super on-point and amazing but it still crumbled once Hartman died.

Also Beth was super hot.

Tiny JGL was also such a cutie-pie. He could have been in That's So Raven but there would have to be one or two script changes.
