This is my mother-in-laws cat. She is mostly very docile and doesn't attack their dog - just minds her own business (and attacks leaves that are tracked in) and sleeps on my mother-in-laws face at night (probably trying to steal her breath.) But the pattern and the orangish highlights in the sunlight are very interesting to me. Edit: Also her eyes are kind of a golden/amber color.

Looks like a classic/marbled tabby to me. It's a rare pattern, but not particular to any breed of cat.

^^^ Ah okay I just have never seen that pattern before and I was just so amazed at how pretty she is. I spent most of my time there when she was around blinking slowly at her and letting her lick my hand.
