Crowe approaches the 8th tee with some confidence apparent. Deservedly so after a fine performance on his last hole, with a sublime initial drive. He got past the greenkeeper with a combination of fireballs, teleportation and releasing a trained mole onto the green. However, he only has two lives left and is down to his last Plasma Blast, which he'll have to husband carefully on the back nine.

Tom i'm here at the yawning void of existance where the 5th fairway used to be, after Martin's habitual slice reared it's ugly head and led to a disasterous shot that went back in time and shattered the fabric of reality with the resulting paradox. We're not sure what exactly played out but the returned ball appears to be radiating unfathomable energies and, more importantly, has come to lie near the green for an easy chip-in.
