There are a ton of comic series about space flight that are going on right now, but what if I told you that there was a comic series about space flight that took place in modern times? With no actual space travel? Well, Tim Heidecker has you covered. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zdha2OfhGzk Moonbase 8 is a series about "three subpar astronauts living in NASA's Moon Base Simulator in the desert with high hopes of being the next chosen to travel through to the moon," to quote a cited quote from Wikipedia. It stars Heidecker, John C. Reilly, and Fred Armisen, and is written by the trio and Tim & Eric alum Jonathan Krisel. The show debuts at 11/10c on Showtime, but you can watch the first episode now on YouTube for (I presume) a limited time.

It might of been funny back in 2004 but this is just dreadful.

Really enjoyed the first ep, looking forward to more. I'm a big Timhead, but the humor didn't strike me as that dated awkwaaard style at all. I could be proven wrong as it goes on, but I don't think it risks being weighed down by sincerity either. Five bags of popcorn.

Whole season is on demand, I thought it was pretty fun and an easy binge. Hope it comes back for a second.

It's missing that x-factor that could truly propel it to greatness but it was fun imo.
