Drove up from San Diego to Los Angeles, and then to just north of Santa Barbara for some bike adventures!!! Lets go!!! CLIQUE 4 BIG Always the first step on a road trip. No hotdog today. I got miles to put down.   Into LA! Its freakin' vehicular combat out here.  THE BLIMP  Made it to Santa Monica!  My ride! This thing freakin' RIPS.   Almost ran this dude over. Woulda been MESSY. https://i.imgur.com/sAFVs6n.mp4 This thing goes forever. Delightful.  Made it to Manhattan Beach!  Overpriced green smoothie time!!! (it was really good)  Gotta pee!! Easily the worst public bathroom I've ever been in. Had to document this.  FRESH AIR. Suns going down! Gotta make moves!  Hanging out with the hip urban youths of Venice Beach  A delightful evening.  Made it back to the pier for sunset!  gently caress I am tired. Need food.  ATE TEH WHOLE drat THING OF BAKED ZITI Might have been more cheese than pasta.  Next Morning. Through Malibu!  Weather is pretty good today!  Santa Barbara Pier! Ate a bunch of fried seafood!!!  Wine Country for some mountain biking!  Rented this e-bike! It costs like $6000! I thought about stealing it. It's like riding a bike with cheat codes enabled.  HILL BOMB TIME  MORE!!!  Another great day.  My room. No Country For Old Men vibes.  Wine tastin' type of morning!  FRESH ASPHALT YES  An entire ranch just for minitaure horses???   Am sleepy. I can make a rippin fire.   Lets go home.  But first some fun in the mountains. Found a drift spot to do some wreckless driving!  Downtown LA is all the way down there!  Alright, thats it, through LA and towards home.  FIN

Nice pics....I walked up and down there a while ago, pretty much from Venice to Santa Monica and hung about to watch the sunset one day. All day in the sun with no sunscreen and I was a little pink but ok overall. The other day(and back in Australia) I did the edges and mowed for maybe an hour and a half, pretty similar temp to what it was when I was in LA, and came out with red stinging sunburn that still hurts 2 days later. Wear your sunscreen if you come down here people.
