"The situation was created to see how mad it would make people. The idea was that it was a big injoke that no one could ever get. It basically succeeded in making FYAD extremely mad, though you'll no doubt deny it, and made GBS people try really really hard to act like they "got it". The most interesting unintentional side effect is that for a few hours every night it was actually pretty cool. It was sort of an actually good fusion of FYAD and GBS where people just hung out with their friends and relaxed but were also relatively nice to each other. The rest of the day it was full of really bad trolling from FYAD regulars and really bad "The situation" posts from everyone else".

DPPH was a great forum. We got swap.avi Also the files forum used to do a secret Santa each year where we would load up dvds/cds with files and send them in the post. I still remember some goon sent me a short film called “Gay niggers from outer space” and it’s just glorious.
