People think I'm crazy for this one but I really want to believe there was some inspiration going on. Might be a little bit of a stretch. In something that nobody will ever probably care about, Richard Marx's "Should've Known Better" is essentially a direct rip-off of Don Henley's "Boys of Summer." The heavily reverbed snares, the minor riff during the verses into a bright major chord chorus, the nostalgic lyrics, the entire song structure, it's the loving same exact track!!
