This game is incredible. My Dorloth (violent intelligent plants) almost destroyed themselves by becoming obsessed with porn. They then rebuilt themselves as the Dorloth Porn Governments. Eventually they developed the highest form of inspiration virtual porn and it became a cultural pillar; every Dorloth was expected to become completely involved with virtual porn as a central point of species ideology. I love my Dorloth. This game is great. Someone come talk about this game.

The demo was neat, but I don't know if I want to play a thousand turns worth.

I really like it for the storytelling. I have a feeling I'll like it even more when there are more races and planets involved. It's still very early access, but I'm pleased I jumped in - I've already played two full games and am already planning out the third. The way the civilizations rename themselves, the way decisions echo down through their history... it scratches a previously unknown itch.
