My favourite teenage mutant ninja turtle when I was a kid was Rapael because:

1) Red was my favourite colour
2) His weapon (the Sai) look like forks and I liked food
3) I thought sarcasm was really clever when I was a kid

But if I had to choose now I'd probably pick Irma.

This is kind of interesting. I was a nerdy little kid with glasses and I was really smart and aspergers and stuff so you'd think I'd gravitate towards smart characters like Egon. But actually I had a short phase where I was obsessed with food and cooking, I think the smells of dough made a big impression on me when I was in primary school, and I wanted to be a cook when I grew up. So I always went for characters that were obliquely connected to food in some way. I just remembered that!
