The Perseids is an annual meteorshower that occours from the middle of July untill the end of August, with peak activity in these days. Jupiter should be visible as well. In a few days, Saturn will join it. Then next month, there will be a trifecta when the moon will be nearby too.

I'm in the southern hemisphere (aka The Good Hemisphere) and saw a huge and greenish meteor last Friday. But only one. So I guess it balances out.
