I no longer use any other profile folder than Desktop. Yeah, it might be cluttered, but I can always make more sub folders named "stuff on desktop 33". What's your filing system yospos?

my favourite is icloud on macos because I had saved something there and I needed to access it with a folder that required the true location (ie usr/var/bullshit/unix/hierarchy/sux) and I simply couldn’t find it! it must be really safe

Yeah, I had to change stuff on windows because Microsoft thought that desktop should be under one drive and that didn't work really well for me. The downside is when I try to put files from one drive on my desktop by dragging them, they get deleted by one drive.

Not gonna lie - on a blu ray I burned in 2011 there is an "old dekstop folder" with several "old desktop folders' nested underneath going all the way back to 1998 when my family got a computer.
