Nobody outrules the Marquise de Cat!

Buy, sell, and trade organs in a strange and evolving universe. Dive into the quivering innards of alien capitalism. This is SPACE WARLORD ORGAN TRADING SIMULATOR: the sci-fi body horror market tycoon game you didn't know you needed.

This game is on XBox Game Pass, so it's 'free' for many of you, but also Steam!

This game is directed by Xalavier Nelson Jr who was one of the writers on Hypnospace Outlaw. Is he a goon? I don't know!

The gameplay on this one doesn't exactly track perfectly to any other game. During the day, you receive requests for organs from people in the space community, and try to buy organs for them while maintaining a profit. Soon you'll have other Organ Traders competing with you for parts. You'll be able to see what they're looking at, panic and buy it first, only to realize it's not what you need at all! You'll receive special yellow requests that may or may not push story progress forward, and there are other events that will happen. The thing is, there's a very tight time limit for each day, driving the tension and making everything feel frantic!

During each night, you can participate in the organ stock market and purchase upgrades for your ship, among other things. Any organs you still have on you will degrade in quality a bit. There's multiple endings, and plenty to explore. The soundtrack is awesome, and the whole thing has the cybercapitalist aesthetic reminiscent of Cruelty Squad.

Also interesting is that this game is compatible with the Kinect. Maybe if you have a Windows compatible Kinect kicking around you'll feel like a deeply immoral Minority Reporter.

I found out about this because Jerma played it
