 After their latest success, the trio kept moving. Eeby, still somewhat stunned by his earlier encounter with the horror from the depths, tried to explain to Blemp that Bowman (and, until recently, Eeby himself) had been under a horrible, nightmarish enchantment. Blemp, for his part, was shocked. He’d though they had just been strangely quiet, enjoying the journey through the fantastical lands of Orokos. No, Eeby assured him, that had not been the case. The two of them looked over at Bowman, neck still tilted back awkwardly (not broken, Blemp had checked!) and Yuuki plainly embarrassed to be seen with him. Somehow, they would help him! But not today. For in the field ahead lay a cozy little cottage that filled Blemp with dread. He recognized those colours, that design sensibility, even the sing-song voice that drifted from the picturesque little chimney. Blemp’s fur rose to halo him like a soft cloud and he hissed that they needed to leave - now. But it was too late.  “Yoo hoo~!” Sherry appeared before them like a pastel wraith, ushering them towards the house. There was a good reason Blemp had broken off their attachment, and he would be damned if she would drag him back in. Gathering together all their oratory skill, the trio (er, the duo and their charge) explained to her that they were on some really quite serious business that may concern the fate of Orokos, and they didn’t have time to tarry. 2. Go South And Deflate The Mood Of Blemp's Ex, Who Resettled In Orokos [Difficulty 8]: 3d8 4, 7, 2 An hour or so later they were in the midst of a tea party, all the grime and muck of travel wiped away and their outfits repaired, dyed, and otherwise replaced with something more appropriate to the scene. The creature was a force of nature, and the trio felt their heads spinning as she worked on them and around them. Sherry steadfastly refused to be budged by anyone’s arguments to the contrary, and insisted on having them stay for brunch and supper and maybe a few days because they had a delightful garden party on the weekend for - Blemp asked if she had any raspberry cordial and while she was distracted they booked it back into the forest, tails between their legs.
