Is BSG directly linked to Trek now that Picard's father looks just like Gaius Baltar, is Gaius Baltar an ancestor of Picards?

All of this has happened before and all of this will happen again. Also Picard is now part cyborg so of course his dad would be played by the the Cylon Frakker-In-Chief.

I misread this as Gaius Baelsar but that wouldn't be the wildest crossover Final Fantasy or Star Trek have done.
