5 day 'resorts' run from $2000-$5000 for 5 to 7 days with a shaman in a guided retreat. What sort of things should I look for to ensure a good experience?

probably not? i don't know ayahuasca foundation is reputable. shipibo tradition. legit. don't do anything non reputable & i really think peru is the best bet but i'm biased i've only done it 3 nights at a time & always domestically. don't be on anything psychotropic for 6 weeks prior is safe

I have no idea, op, but one time I watched a YT video where one of those balding middle aged science guys went on one and it looked kinda ok but not super interesting. The shaman seemed pretty worthless. Dunno if you get more out of it than out of a well planned acid/mushroom trip in the US. Please report back with the results later
