PATCH 1.06.1b "Goodall" BETA NOTES
--------------------------------------------------------------

BUGFIXES
- Fixed pathfinding error for Formicidae where a positive feedback loop caused gatherer units to sometimes get locked in death spirals

- Fixed forelimb joint rotational issue in F. silvestris catus that softlocked them in arboreal terrain and making it impossible for them to climb back down after using their basic defensive maneuver.

- Increased number of folds in Phascolarctos cinereus (Koala) brains to 2. Evidently P. cinereus was released in a state where their brains were entirely smooth, resulting in sub-optimal behavior.

- Modified Giraffa camelopardalis joints to allow them to squat while giving birth in order to eliminate persistent issue with young suffering fall damage immediately upon spawning.

BUFFS AND NERFS
- Ailuropoda melanoleuca (Giant Panda) were caught in a mega-annum-long decline due to a botched early Miocene patch rollout in which they managed to develop obligate herbivore perk despite somehow not getting the requisite caecum lower colon upgrade that allows herbivores to efficiently digest plant material. The dev team has identified two possible buffs: 1) retroactively patch in caecums, or 2) disable obligate herbivory. In this beta branch, we have decided to go with option 2 as it requires less code changes. As an additional bonus, internal testing shows that this results in a minor boost in favorable A. melanoleuca matchups vs H. Sapiens.

Please feel free to use this thread to report other bugs with the current 1.06.1b "Goodall" patch! While we cannot assure that we will implement every suggestion, our team takes bugs very seriously.

humans are still OP, there's literally no point to playing as another species. almost the entire tech tree is blocked unless you're human or one of those octopi in the mariana trench

edit: i get that the 'cancer' mechanic is supposed to mitigate this but it's not fast enough. they all survive too long which steamrolls the others

WAD. Humans were designed as an endgame boss. Have you tried playing as a an airborne virus?

Planned for next patch:

- Investigate how L. tessellata was able to gain access to perks ("Cheerleader") thought to only be available to H. Sapiens

-----------------------
HOTFIX

- Temporarily disabled evolution for members of Crustaceae while the team figures out the reason for the "carcinization" convergence bug
