I guess they decided to split the 30-episode run into two seasons.

3 seasons? Unless they're doing 20 episodes next season, I'm betting their 30th new one will come in the 4th season.. Friday will be #10 this season.

For some reason I thought this was the 15th episode.

I guess dividing it into as many similarly-sized seasons as possible is the right thing to do, as they already said that after this 30-episode run they'll probably be done with Awesome Show for a while.

Nth-ing the love for Dr. Steve in this episode. John C. Reilly captured pretty much every stage of drunkeness I've ever been in, or have seen others in, and did so in quite hilarious fashion.

I don't even like wine, but guess what, you're gonna like it.

[I'm] supposed to spit it out. But no way Jose am I spitting this stuff out, it tastes like fruit!

Wine was invented by the romans for orgies, and orgies are not too much fun if no one wants to do it with you.

I've been wondering for a while how these scenes are created. I assume T&E give John scripts and he just mumbles through the lines and adds the usual DR Steve mannerisms. When I read the lines without the performance, it sounds depressing, especially the orgies line.

I think it's probably even more freeform than that, they probably just come up with a concept and run with it from there. In their Onion A.V. Club interview, they said that something like 5 different Dr. Steve bits came out of two hours of goofing about.

I dreamed that I bought The Innernette at Dollar Tree. Apart for a few problems with installing it on Vista (had to disable UAC), it was surprisingly good, aside from chat. It took 200MB of disk space.

Then a plane crashed in front of my house, and I lost interest.
