HPP took their shop car to the track. The car went 7.79 @ 180mph on drag radials. The combo is a stroked Ford mod motor (4.6L to 5L), with oliver billet rods, ported heads, custom billet turbo cams, a FAST engine management system, 91mm turbo, glide, stock type suspension, and full frame rails. drat impressive for a 3,250 pound car.

Yeah, that's why I posted the little quip about the wierd exhaust setup. If you want a more recent example, look up the Subaru ER27, last seen in the Subaru XT6. They added a pair of cylinders on, but rather than adding an exhaust tube, they just siamesed the last two cylinder's exhaust ports. Can't afford a full sized tractor with 4 jet engines? Keep in mind that that v8 is an outboard boat engine made by Envinrude. It's rated at 250hp from the factory, so I'd say they're doing pretty good.
