We need to get off of the lovely metalcore subject. Everyone who hasn't yet listened to Punch needs to do so now. I'm loving obsessed with their new 7". They are female fronted thrashy stuff from the bay area. Check them out here: http://www.myspace.com/punchcrew. Also, anyone in the bay other than me and ddonahue99 needs to come out to the Bike Kitchen on May 9th. Comadre, Loma Prieta, Capsule, Furnace. poo poo will be insane. Also on the 10th somewhere in Half Moon Bay Comadre and Ceremony are playing which will be another ridiculous show. Oh, and May 17/18 (in San Francisco and Santa Cruz respectively) is Gorlock/Glimb weekend. gently caress my life. Is anyone going to Rainfest this year? If I can afford it I will be there, but no guarantees yet.

Depends on how much you are looking to get for them? I don't know what they go for, which is why I was trying to find them in distro if possible.

I really can never tell in these threads. That kind of music is usually unwelcome in here and REALLY unwelcome in the metal thread, and it's own thread dies out super fast every time. To keep with the theme of "almost hardcore related": Gorilla Biscuits alternate cover is rad. Has "Good dudes" etched on side A, "Backed Hard" on side B. Didn't bother getting the other colors of ISHC, and I'm only missing the friends/family/staff version of the 7" because I'm well, none of the 3. To get back to punk: saw Disfear on sunday with Trap Them. loving amazing. Of course they were sold out of the Live the Storm NA tour version LP by the time they got to my city Seeing Tragedy, Dropdead, and Systematic Death on Saturday. I'm going to smell so loving bad coming out of that show. The hygiene in this city is atrocious.

It's great to here Chad sing (was a fan of him in Shai Halud) again and I love all the cool references (a song about Back to the Future AND Indiana Jones? Heck Yes!) It's a really fun album and I'm enjoying it. EDIT: Hey Dillinger, you should post pictures of your vinyl collection some time. It must be huge. I'd kill for two tickets to the flotilla at Chaos in Tejas. They sold out kinda quick. Skipping Roky Erickson but going to the other shows and house parties. Disfear were pretty good but not top notch. Chronic Seizure rec release coming up!

I'm jealous. But I know down the line a Boston show will happen...it's Bridge Nine, it's Chris Wrenn, it's Kris Mission, and it's probably one of their most rabid fanbases in the country out here and they know it. My feet won't touch the ground once during NFG except when I have to lift myself onto some object to jump from

So Tragedy did two shows tonight in Rhode Island...the first one sold out super fast so they booked a 2nd one for earlier in the day. Got tickets to the first and it was decent...short set. Kids into it but not super into it. Waited around for friends who were going to the 2nd show and managed to sneak in and holy gently caress best time ever. Packed house, people going nuts. So glad I finally got to see them. Twice in one day even. If a dude in a plain white T, black jeans, and timberlands dove on you, sorry

Isterismo debut 7" sold out the entire pressing within 2 hours. loving insane. I checked NAT Records website last night and nothing was listed, so I go and make some food and come back to find that within the 20 minutes I was gone, it got listed and had already sold out. gently caress. Then again, I'm not surprised a band that sounds like Wretched with the production vaules of Gloom and Framtid got snatched up that fast. Kinda reassures me that people still have good taste actually.
