Went to the Weekend Nachos tour kickoff, pretty fun. Harms Way, Catburglars and Boiling Over also played. Same night Barren, No Slogan and I Attak played as a benefit for Chris from Useless Wooden Toys who was stabbed to death by a travel punk (funny the MRR article calls him a "redneck," not "another useless travel punk scumbag.") The aforementioned perp is pleading not guilty to stabbing Chris in the chest and his wife has to leave her job to travel from Minnesota to Indiana to fight this guy in court.

So it appears that Morning Glory have reformed and are touring the west coast soon. They also have a new album coming out. I am pretty stoked because they were by far my favorite of the Crack Rocksteady 7 bands and Ezra isn't a huge tool like Stza.

Real bummed out as I've just learned that Dead Hearts are calling it quits. They have four shows left and there last one will be on September 12th with Energy, Get Back Up and Face The Panic in Buffalo.

I used to be a big fan (Spencer era, not Dallas era) but ever since their recent non-live cd, and I guess since I listened to They're Only Chasing Safety like 70 times I just grew out of it. I swear the song sounds like one off Define the Great line, and when I first listened to that I thought I might be listening to some new Norma Jean. I can't believe I wasted time on them for them to come up and down so fast.
