All the shittiness of a 60s car, with none of the benefits of the 510. Its not even a 5 speed, which should be installed into a MG anyway.

Located in Montreal, QC. Just outside of Vancouver? That and the bad grammar leads me to think it's a scam. But who would try to scam someone with an overpriced 70's station wagon?

I really have to wonder about how these projects get started. I mean, a lot of the shittiness (the interior) could come about through corners being cut here or there, little bad decisions. But STARTING the project...they have to have seen the body they were building the car around before they began, right? And it NEVER clicked that the proportions were all wrong?

At least a Fiero-based abomination has the excuse of having to conform to the proportions of the Fiero. This dipshit actually built the frame for it. He had no such limitations.

:argh: HUMANITY!

not all replicas turn out lovely, I hope this Fiero-based Reventon replica restores whatever little faith you have left

Now here is the serious question. What really makes the fox body Mustangs worth so much? This is almost a 20 year old car that still commands a pretty hefty price. You can run out and buy a car that is half the age, less miles, and probably less beaten up. I Looked up the price of this car on NADA, with just standard options, automatic, and 100,000 miles, and with high retail being 4825 and clean retail being 4100 dollars. Many fox bodies in my area are always trying to be sold at a sky high price. Any reasons or explanation?

Edit: My area is defined as Des Moines, IA.

Craigslist has been getting hosed sideways by spammers recently, and doing it in an unconventional way - they're using local phone numbers. If payphones still existed I'd go call one of these guys up just to find out what the deal is.

Just an idea if you really want to find out.

Several caller ID spoofing services are available online that not only hide your number from the recipient's caller ID, they also make the call appear to be coming from another phone number altogether. Even better, you decide what number you want to show up when you call. I recommend this trick at SpoofCard, one of many such services. Just give SpoofCard your number, the number you want to call, and the number you want to show up in the caller ID; SpoofCard takes care of rest.
