Sounds like a lazy teenager who doesn't know much about cars. The "its a straight 6. so a v6 engine." part really shows how much he knows.

I am from Bakersfield it really makes me wonder if I went to highschool with this guy. Though I think john knew what was under the hood of his old beater.

Say is a Nova a classic or just an old car

Reply to:
Date: 2009-02-21, 5:41PM EST

here i have my 2005 suzuki hayabusa 1300cc, it is a inline 4 cylinder liquid cooled sport bike, many custom parts and upgrades, very fast not recommended for a beginner rider or the faint of heart!! this bike has been my baby for over two years but due to buying a house i must sell. only looking to sell for what i need to buy my new house, well under what i have into it. custom parts are to include:
~custom artic white paint with chrome mettallic flake
~custom painted dash panels
~custom painted switch housings
~custom painted gauge surround
~custom painted pig-spotter mirrors
~twin led untertail
~custom swingarm mounted license plate
~custom chrome dagger grips
~chrome levers
~custom GP style exhaust with baffles
~new sprockets and chain to include one tooth down in the front and 3 up in the rear
~4"-10" extensions(currently at 9")
~custom airbox modification
~pair valve mod
~clear alternatives turn signals
~liquid chrome double bubble windscreen
~braided stainless rear brake line
~EBC double HH sintered race brake pads front and rear
~blue and green gauge faces
~custom suede wrapped seats
~TRD over rev eliminator
also a full tune up was just recently done when the plastics were away at paint, i have put less than 200 miles on it sense then. bike has always been garage kept and washed and waxed on the regular. like i said this thing is my baby and i hate to see it go but i need a house more than this. i have put over $14K into this bike total and it runs like a dream. had a compression check done on the motor just last spring when it was in to get the valves tuned and everything was perfect. even the dealer was impressed with its condition. brake pads and fluid flush was done last fall with less than 1k miles sense then and the brakes are excellent! the sprockets are one down in the front and three up in the rear making it really torqy, will throw your head back!! bike has never been raced and never laid down. if you want any other pics or pics of anything specific or any questions feel free to email me or call. please refrain to calling during decent hours, no later than 830pm please. if it sells for close to my asking price i will also give the buyer my large white helmet and medium joe rocket limited suzuki leather jacket. thanks for looking ~Matt~ 226-1607

I have to say, for all the hayabusa's I've seen on Craiglist, that one is not nearly the most disgusting. At least it's one solid, clean color, and not air brushed with something terrible like they usually are when they get to that point.

If I was going to make something like that (which I wouldn't) I'd definitely get a bike with a totaled front end and a car with a ruined rear and the engine stripped out. I highly doubt the guy took 2 perfectly functioning vehicles and turned them into that. I suppose anything is possible though.

Personally I'd like to see an AIer buy it just to see how cool they could make it. Insane custom fiberglass body and a turbo anyone? :q:

I remember seeing on Jalopnik an ad for a similar conversion using a bike rear end and a GM W-body front, either a Buick or an Olds. The car's FWD drivetrain was retained, which seems to make a lot more sense than this. Makes me want to go to the local JDM halfcut store, buy the front end of a Ver 8 STi and make a trike out of it.

I new somebody who new somebody, who ran a transport company. They were supposed to take this car and destroy all contents and car. I paid them enough to take the motor. I'm told it was in a corvette either gtp or can am car 3 were made in 87 1 and 3 were raced and 2 was an exibition car,{car shows, sporting events, museums etc.} and race rock for last 5yrs till it closed. It is a 4.3 with 700+ hp. Before you look away look at the pics and tell me if you ever saw another 4.3 like this. It has no lie less than a 1000 mi. a retro fit crank so it's stroked, has retro fit big block aluminum heads, high rise aluminum intake w/ retro fit corvette tuned port plentum. Anyone who knows gm knows 4.3 is 350-2cyls. Also A Garrett 60 mm turbo, stroked motor built like nascar to do 12,000 rpm so faster you go more hp. If you google v6 corvette you will be suprized as I was to find out they did it and were most successfiul with the v6. Back to the 3 cars 1 and 3 were destroyed so #2 is only one left in existance! I have all inter cooler, plumbing, wire harnesses guages and computer which says gm prototype, that was in the car. Have a truelly one of a kind racer that will perform like nothing else. I also bought a 1995 t-top camaro for the donor car it actually runs and drives and is in primer. I spent $5,000.00 on the motor and 1,200.00 on the car and figure it will take probably another 5-10,000 to finish, and have the nastiest car around but hard times and baby on the way,{toys ain't so important right now} besides I have others. I would like to get closest offer to $5,000.00 or interesting trade. Trust me pics do no justice in person is when your jaw really drops and best of all if you don't know what your lookin at it looks totally stock. It cost at least $5,000.00 to get a true 500 hp and be same as everyone who has a musclecar. Nobodies seen this. Call me with any ?'s or offers please I'm not that desperate so think a little MY name is Dan my # is {413}-512-0726 Thank you for your time.
