I was still using my Game Theatre XP up until a few weeks ago when that computer died. I loved it for the first 2 years or so, but then the breakout box started to have trouble. It started loving up right channel RCA outs, and the headphone jack never worked. It really sucked while moving around, though. I would move into the dorms in September, and move out in May. That giant breakout box cable became very annoying. It only had USB 1, which was also a pain, but it was good for putting game controllers and mice/keyboards on.

Where would you get that cart rack to the right of those monitors with the 360 on it? I've been looking for something like that for a while.

Honestly everyone asks me but I don't know where it was purchased. We inherited this apartment from a friend and she left it here.

I'm thinking it's time to retire my ancient Hercules Game Theater XP there, it's easily the oldest part of my frankenputer.

I miss the forearm thick cable that went into the breakout box that had no slack what so ever and would pull the unit itself backwards if it wasn't perfectly flat. gently caress that thing sounded good.

Ha, thanks.

And w/r/t the target.com link: that is not as big as what I'm using. I actually bought that exact same cart hoping I could use it for my computers but it's not as strong or large as the one I'm using. So I just took the one I bought and swapped it with this one that was in the bathroom.

I really wish I knew where to get another one, to be honest.

Heres my work area:
Custom built computer, Core2Duo Quad core, 8GB RAM, and 2x ATI video cards.
Driving 4x Dell 24" widescreens, with a Lenovo T61 Thinkpad for going mobile.

The stand is an Aeromax Ergotron or some poo poo, pretty nice stand (weights a gently caress ton with 4 monitors though, hard to adjust).

I used to use my LCD TV as my monitor

the resolution was shite, and when trying to use debian the screen would never be centered, and there was no way to correct it

Buy a countertop the size you want, buy 4-5 table legs from Ikea or whatever, combine, profit.
