Speaking of getting boned on eBay, I finally found someone selling a copy of Criterion's Kanal outside of the box set, but got outbid in the final seconds. loving snipers. I have no feelings one way or the other about Cronos. Blade 2 was awful, but Pan's Labyrinth was okay.

loving yes! Repulsion is by far my favorite Polanski movie and I've been waiting for a decent DVD release of it for a long-rear end time now. I haven't sprung for a Criterion in a while now, but I have to have this one. Great cover, too.

It's been a long time since I was as excited for Criterion solicits as I am for the Human Condition and For All Mankind BR. Hopefully all of that 8mm and 16mm film looks okay in the upgrade. Amazon is offering customers the chance to vote on a title for Criterion to release on Blu-Ray later this year. The choices are: Au Revoir Les Enfants Down By Law Howards End Kwaidan Picnic at Hanging Rock For me, the easy choice was Picnic at Hanging Rock... but Kwaidan would be nice too.

I picked up Science is Fiction but I haven't opened it yet because I'm confused about the packaging. I work at Barnes & Nobel and our computer shows a cardboard/paper type case in the search results (I'm a fan, I think the colors look a lot better).
