Jenny Wilson - Clattering Hooves https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFc2W9efs_o // I couldn't find the album version of this song on youtube, but she does a great rendition of this song with just a piano and handclaps. The Grates - Carve Your Name https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hoLrg5vp-B4 // I have been listening to this song obsessively since I saw them last live last week. This isn't their best song, but it has this infectiously happy and energetic quality to it, which is a great change of pace compared to the kind of music that I normally listen to. Midaircondo - Bringing Me Home // It's not up on youtube yet, but this song has a very hypnotic quality to it. It has this rolling and almost undulating beat and a huanting chant-like quality to the vocals. The song works even better with headphones and there's something very addictive and disturbing about it. Aniki has a new favorite as of 11:15 on Oct 4, 2009 |

Not the entire song, but the last minute and a half of this song is pretty loving awesome. It's entirely instrumental. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wLXJASUOmI So from 7:00 to the end of the song is something I can't stop listening to.

Peter Fox - "Alles Neu" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdtLCfEcPL4 Perhaps I wouldn't like it as much if I were able to translate all of it, but it's so drat catchy. Diablo Swing Orchestra - "Balrog Boogie" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ad-l54T_kYY No video, unfortunately, but the song's going to stick with you. Wu Tang Clan - "Da Mystery of Chessboxin'" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kl6jwab3HWk The whole song is amazing, but when ODB steps in at 1:34, I can't help but start moving around.
