I found some of my old stuff. Not the greatest stuff, but full of memories. Thought I would post these since I'm waiting on some painting supplies to show up. I usually order together with a friend and if i remember correctly it's 7€ from Poland to Germany, split between the two of us, it's quite reasonable again. Casting quality is generally pretty good, details are crisp, mold lines are light. Personally i'd put them at about the same level as newer Privateer Privateer Press stuff. The only thing that ever had casting issues from all the stuff i bought was Guerillas minigun, the details were kinda soft. I never asked for a replacement because that machine gun was just a perfect fit and i'd likely have done it anyway but based on my experiences with Pulp Monsters so far i'm 100% sure they'd have sent me one without trouble. (The packaging for the box sets is really nice but for one of our orders it wasn't ready in time so they sent us the minis in ziplocks and then shipped us the boxes with a promo mini and an apology afterwards) I also made a thread about Pulp City but it's mostly dead already, so feel free to ask any questions there. Edit: Bonus (not very good) pictures of our demo table and teams:   The villains on the right are mine and at least the lovely photos hide that they were painted quite hastily. Was he even trying to sell the finished inks? I thought he was just selling water, flow aid, and matte medium. Whatever, it's not really anything new as far as I know, but I thought it was handy to see an exact list of ingredients and the ratios used as well as some samples of white models washed with each color like what GW did for their washes.

What the hell is the blue dude supposed to be. Some sort of Tzeentch demon? The other pictures of soulgrinders have the demon with the orc powerklaw. Whatever it is, it looks pretty cool. Yeah. I didn't feel like paying for the soulgrinder so i just found some cheap defilers on ebay and sculpted the demon. My second one has a powerclaw:   I have not started to paint him up at all though. I think I did some more work on him after those pictures but I can't honestly recall.

Question for some of you more experienced painters, is there a way to "knock down" a highlight to make not so light? Terrible wording I know but the final highlight I used for a test models orc skin (AoBR Boyz)is much lighter than I was expecting and doesn't sit well with the rest of the colors. Is there a way to tone it down or just chalk it up to a mistake? (No pics as my "quality" camera is just my phone)

So looking at some of my oldest models, I'm realizing how much they suck. I'd like to go back and redo them, but I'll need to strip the paint. What's a good way of doing that, which won't give off too many fumes(as I live in a pretty small apartment)? If there's no way of avoiding fumes I can open the bathroom window and close the door while they soak in whatever poo poo, I just don't want to gas myself. All metal, no plastic, too, so stuff that eats plastic is fine, even if it means I'll need to stick them on new bases.

nah not at all, simple green can be poured down your sink when youre done too (although Id keep it and use it a few more times before you chuck it) The messiest part of it is the removal of the paint, because wet stringy chunks of paint and primer get all over the place

Thanks, I'll make sure I have the drain plugged. Also, there's no real way to spray-prime indoors without a special rig for it, is there? Like, if I do it in the bathtub, I'll have a lovely black bathtub for forever, yeah? I think the store's got a setup for it at least. I'm just not entirely sure how fond I am of the gesso I've been using thus far.

You could get a proper spray booth, they're awesome for containing and removing the spray, but they're also expensive.

Does anyone have a suggestion as to what agitators I could put into my pots of paint? I know BBs are a no-go because they'll rust and that's just bad news. I don't really have any spare bits of metal sprue to use. Maybe a plastic bead of some sort? I can't imagine acrylic paint reacting poorly with plastic, but I'm just asking here to see if anyone has other suggestions.
