I noticed someone had said "poor A7X" on their facebook so I mentioned how lucky we were that it wasn't someone from a good metal band. I think I lost more friends at that moment then I did when my friend changed my status to "I'm a pedophile and the law says I have to tell you this"

Oh man I just picked up Desperate Living the other day and cannot stop listening to it. The $2? extra I paid for the deluxe edition was well worth it - the bonus tracks are awesome.

Is there a physical deluxe version? Are all the bonus tracks just remixes? it's one of my favorite albums of last year hahaha. My favorite tracks are probably Big Business and Golden Mummy Golden Bird. but I really like them all and never skip any, except Science Police sometimes.

I like IWABO. They're really fun to listen to. I was surprised that they managed to make a full length album that is pretty strong throughout. I was also surprised that the vocalist pulled off the harsh vocals pitch perfect live. Her clean singing is another story and needs a shitload of work but that seems to be the case with most metal vocalists. as for -core band with female vocals I definitely like Rolo Tomassi a lot better though.

I found a pretty awesome Russian band called Human Device a couple of months ago, never heard of them before and they were in the 'death metal' category in my music store. It's really some kind of deathcore I think? Either way, they're pretty fantastic so if you find some at iTunes or whatever give it a try. Here are two pretty decent discoveries I've made this week : Yesterday I Had Roadkill Pretty cliché band, but they incorporate elements from every sub-genres of deathcore (yes, even crabcore) and it turns into a pretty interesting demo, give it a listen. http://www.myspace.com/yesterdayihadroadkill Fat Man's War Face This one's a lot less cliché, I'd say they sound like an extreme Unearth. God drat it. Before I even got a chance to listen to the music of We Butter the Bread with Butter, I immediately want to not like them based off of their image posted on their MySpace page of the two of them holding Wii controllers wearing their hair with side-swept bangs like douchebags. And then I actually got a chance to listen to the music and realized that my initial hate is justified. This is not music.
