There's a lot of great stuff in this thread, I've found a ton of new artists to keep my eye on. However, I'm looking for a recommendation. I'm holding a dance party in my room tomorrow night and I've been searching for a great mix to blast for people to to. For reference, I'm looking for something along the lines of Hervé's Ghetto Bass mix (the first hour, not the dubstep hour), but I'm open to other styles as well. Any suggestions?

I guess I'm still pretty new to all this, since I'm not familiar with all the genre names/intricate differences, etc. That said, I can't stop listening to this: Noob & Brodinski - Peanuts Club http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VQYn5tFFBpE EDIT: for my education, what genre would this be put in?

Just heard "Fear of Tigers - The Adventures of Pippi Longstrump" on an Avon advert on TV. Does this mean we can't like him anymore note: there is a small chance they just played something that is sampled in that song. But it did sound exactly like it.

A few days late, but you can't half tell Danger was inspired by Yuzo Koshiro on 3h11. Sounds awesome, I hope the vinyl isn't sold out by the time I get paid though, else it's the digital copy for me Also can't get enough of Fear of Tigers at the moment, a million thanks to the OP for bringing him to my attention.

Brodinski is sick, I saw him at decibel festival last year. Another cool artist I first found out about from seeing at Decibel was Voodeux, he makes minimal-ish tech house stuff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rgu2ul34pkc
