I am by and by a huge fan of this thread. I am loving this track so much. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6VQTVR_4JUQ Phoenix remixes tend to be amazing, the Classixx remix was also one of my fav rmxs to date. BTW, I am sure you are already using it, but Pandora does an amazing job of finding good and relatively new music. Not too much bloghouse, but if it has been released, it usually finds a pretty good match.

What's the deal with Die Antwoord? Everything I've heard from them is pretty insane. Wat Pomp doesn't seem to have a release and the it's hard to find much else besides Enter the Ninja (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wc3f4xU_FfQ). Wat Pomp can be swooped here: http://maddecent.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/05-Die-Antwoord-Wat-Pomp.mp3

I couldn't tell if you wanted the Danger logo in the image. If not, I can remove/relocate it very easily. I hesitated doing one for this image, as the resolution isn't as good as the others (at least the 09/17 one) so I had to stretch it some to fit.

Besides the Noze collaboration I Was Drunk and his remixes for Renaissance Man, Malente and Fatboy Slim which are awesome but i think have been posted at least once in this thread I also am really grooving on these tracks right now: Riva Starr - Vouxhall Riva Starr - Snatch Solid Groove - This is Sick Rework with voiceover and clips of Richie Hawtin... bangin track and funny video imo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AwvuXnuUDYY The Young Punx - Juice and Gin (Riva Starr remix) (Young Punx also releasing tons of solid tracks recently) Laidback Luke - Generation Noize (Riva Starr remix) Some other good artists lately for this kind of minimal / tech house-ish electro, besides Renaissance Man, are Claude Von Stroke, Brodinski, Jesse Rose, Malente and Style of Eye.

I'm looking for some inspiration and I'm wondering if you guys can help. On wednesday i'm DJing to a crowd of drunk students who think Justice are the be all and end all of electro. Any Ideas of artists or tracks that fit the Indie dance vein like MSTRKRFT, Digitalism, Simian Mobile Disco, MGMT etc. I'm thinking a lot of Blog house will probably do the trick and I've already got standard tracks like the Soulwax remix of Kids and A-Trak remix of Heads will roll. Any Ideas?

If you are looking for more stuff like Justice, Revolte might be good. They don't have a whole lot of tracks, but some pretty good ones ("TAKK", "Unit 1 Lesson 2", and "Weak Generation").

Attn: All DJs who play nu-disco, bloghouse, or dreamwave music: You should stop playing this music entirely. It is girly. Good DJs only play manly music. Ignore what the blogs tell you about this music. Despite the enthusiastic praise it has been getting, it is actually objectively bad and you should never play it, even to its fans. Please refine your tastes. This has been a message from Acrimonious.

So Friends! I MP3J'd a friends private party with some electro house for a little over an hour. People really seemed to like to track list so I remade it an put it together online as my first DJ Set as BeginnersLuck. Check it out here http://soundcloud.com/beginnersluck/beginnersluck-release-1-feb-2010 I'm pretty new at trying my hand mixing complete sets that sound decent, so focus more on the track selection. What do you think? Strobe (Original Mix) Deadmau5 Metro (Original Mix) Jaytech Times Like These - Edx's Redub Albin Myers Lonely Girl (Proff Remix) Above & Beyond pres. OceanLab I Dont Know Why (Jerome Isma Ae Remix) Moony I Never Find (Original Mix) Matteo Marini Party Of Politics (Original Club Mix) EDX Deep Orange (Original Mix) PROFF Boom Jinx & Jaytech Milano (Original Mix) Gold Rush Jamie Matrix The last track is pretty new and definitely banging!
