before anyone gets all faggy, this is a quote from deadmau5 that earned him a lot of hate on the scene.

Threatis: we get it, JOEL ZIMMERMAN burned you at a party one time, and your butt hasn't really stopped hurting since.

It's just music, guys. Get over it. Deadmau5 really should have been a bannable phrase in this thread, as it was proposed in the OP. All the conversation ever boils down to is 'RARRR I HATE DEADMAU5 HE STINKS AND IS GAY IRL!' vs 'I like deadmau5 he makes dance songs that I dance to'

you hate him. he's a loving tool irl (maybe). some people enjoy the music he produces and you gotta live with it.

personally i find bob rifo is a massive tool for his whole "anarchy army" bullshit he keeps blasting out on every possible opportunity but I still enjoy BB music. and I don't comment on every "woah look at this BB track" post with a hate tirade on how much he's hosed up.

Melee Beats is your next album going to be more in the vein of your newest song and Laser Guided Bombs or is this song another fluke? You can be so good when you do house songs like the examples, but awful when you sing, not only because it sounds bad, but because you're lyrics are usually sub par. The new track owns, looking forward to hearing more of it!

There's nothing like LGB really because that song was made around the sample. So far there are five songs done, all with a unique disco flavor. I'm going to continue that throughout, because what I have realized is that's what I love to make. So yes, expect about 13 songs like VII/Violet.

I concur. The world would probably be a better place if every DJ had to produce all or most of the tracks they played. There'd be a lot more material/variety and a lot less of the bullshit you speak of.

sooooooo.... how about Calvin Harris trainwrecking four times? Poor guy. I think it was a technical issue though and not really his fault... or his laptop may have crashed, I dunno.

The rest of the show was unbelievable though. Fake Blood, Laidback Luke and Boy 8-bit were predictably great, but Annie Mac loving blew me away. She really got the party going toward the beginning of the night. Song of the night imo, and gotta repost this incase anyone has been living under a rock and hasn't heard this:

WHAT YOU SAY
It wasen't just Calvin Harris. The supporting djs before annie mac trainwrecked too. and Luke right after his opening. drat technical issues.

Either way he was really good. Annie Mac just blew me the gently caress away. I was really surprised. I want a tracklist of what she played, that was the dirtiest electro ever.

Luke was amazing, my gf was on the floor when he dropped gangsterdam and undertaker. He's her favourite dj and shes been in love with those two tracks for weeks now so you can imagine her reaction.

Fakeblood, eehhh he was really good but I was pretty disappointed. His levels were hosed up, crowd got a little bored. Still awesome set but he could have worked the crowd much better. Little boots remix was amazing though.

Boy 8-bit was really good too, I left near the end of his set because I couldn't move from dancing so hard. I just wish he played Baltic Pine. Well, the full thing. I think he sampled it.

I was the guy with the green/orange glowsticks destroying the dancefloor. I think I was the only one with glowsticks there, I was dancing haard all night, usually near the back. My gf is a tiny 5,0 blonde girl. I'm sure you saw us at one point :)

Haha if you threw your green glowstick at one point, it flew directly into my hands. I was generally by the left bar, or by the right side of the stage. And yeah, now that I think of it Fake Blood was a little boring, but I love his songs so much and never get to hear them when I go out.

I think I'm going to skip decadence this year, though. The David Guetta crowd combined with the fact that I have exams to write are not making it look too appealing right now. Plus, you just know that Guv is going to overfill the poo poo out the place.
