Why would you sell a ferrari on ebay anyways? At least why would you expect to be taken seriously?

The most eyeballs, and you're not constrained to the timeframe of a single event. You're also not prohibited from listing it elsewhere, so I can't see why you wouldn't list it there, if you're prepared to deal with the scammers.

change my name posted:Why would you sell a ferrari on ebay anyways? At least why would you expect to be taken seriously? eBay is the worlds largest use car "dealership"? They actually sell tons of exotics. I know of no other place where you can buy a used maybach or veyron. In fact, some people say ebay is primarily responsible for stabilizing and increasing the value of mid-market classics. Cars like Panteras, MGs, Dinos, etc have all had their value increase as a result of the ability to easily reach much wider audiences than they could 10 to 15 years ago. Given the low commission (remember auctions can take 6%-15% of the sale price and consignment places just as much) and the wide audience you would be stupid not to use ebay.

So this isn't on Craigslist or Ebay, but if you live near Canton, GA this magnificient classic pimpmobile can be yours for less than $11k. Note: pimp cup, cane not included, but otherwise it comes complete with the original blue vulgar-lour interior

given the number of people that can really afford a Ferrari, don't you have to look nationally to sell one.

I've heard it described, "Selling the Porsche was a simple business transaction, selling the Ferrari was more like an adoption." You might buy one for $60k, but you'll be paying $15k/yr to keep it on the road.

ab0z posted:Stopped to look at this today: A mid-70's domestic car with 350hp? Sure, I believe that since the Corvette had under 200hp the same year. The Malibu was obviously where Chevrolet was hiding it's performance division since the Feds were focusing on the Vette. The bottom may have dropped out from the classic car market, but only the Dupont Registry has noticed. The "low-information" car seller seems to assume his Mustang II could only increase in value since it becomes "more classic" every year. I wish these people would get with the program so I could afford all the cars I want.

Apparently, riced and low KMs means worth pretty much what it was brand new 15 years ago. http://calgary.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-cars-1995-Honda-Civic-SUPER-CLEAN-W0QQAdIdZ196313787 quote:$13000 invested in upgrades

Click here for the full 1421x729 image. Not a bad car. Probably worth more than the $3000 minimum he mentions, but again, what makes people think they need to be total pricks when selling their cars? And, sorry, bub, but while KBB isn't the end all be all of car prices, it is a pretty good indicator of what a car's value is despite your claim that if you trust their values you "know nothing about cars".

Fuuuuuck. Went and checked out that Raider and it's in really good shape. Runs great, excellent pickup and the 4wheel engages and works with no trouble. The owner and I went and tried it out a gravel pit and it was fantastic. I want it so bad. http://fortwayne.craigslist.org/search/cta?query=raider&catAbbreviation=cta

Hubert, I am interested in buying your car, Hubert. Say Hubert, what's your address? I did a little googling and he's 80 years old. And frankly, I'm kinda interested in the car now. Imagine how my friends would laugh as I drove up in a 75 Ford. But I would proudly puff my chest and state, "it's Hubert Campbell's car."
