I'm not a big music person at all, but I've just had a personal crisis. My most favorite song that I couldn't find anywhere else but youtube just got pulled. It is a remix of the English version of Peter Schilling's Major Tom (Coming Home). It is almost exactly the same as the base English version of the song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jt-R5hj_lWM), except that during the chorus, it would slip into German. It suited the song really well, and I absolutely adored it. It's gone, now, and if anyone knows what I'm talking about or where I can buy it, please let me know.

I watched the movie Hype a couple of weeks ago, which is about the grunge scene in Seattle in the early 90s. On the main menu of the DVD there was this song playing which sounded catchy, but the only thing I can tell you about it is it goes something like 'yeahhhh oh yeahhhh' or something to that affect. Can anyone identify that song for me?

I found the tracklist for this online but I still can't find that song. Or maybe it is My Heart by Push he just cut in a different part but I don't hear it anywhere in the original song. Hey, I got another one for you guys. Should be easy but google is just not getting it. The lyrics literally go: "I see the way you're looking at me, you can't have me any more" I'm pretty sure it has a piano riff in it and it's a rap song. Upbeat rap song I guess.

I'm trying to find out what song is playing in one part of the new Microsoft Kin website. Go to http://kin.com/ and skip the lovely intro. Once the site loads up, check out the Kin Loop section. There should be some female guitarist / vocalist song playing. Any idea what track it is?

There's a song they sometimes play in North England where they shut a pub, sang along the lines of camptown races but about different women, if that's even what the songs about. I thought it could be the Macc Lads as it's along those lines but I don't think it is. It also might speed up at the end, but I'm not sure if that's just to get people out quicker. Anybody have any idea what I'm on about? It's something like Suzie's got a big pair of tits, doo dah doo dah Tanyas got hairy legs, doo dah doo dah. Something like that. edit: asked my brother and got it, but here it is anyway http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dKrvsEiL9-g justcola fucked around with this message at 00:16 on Apr 14, 2010 |

Hah, this is one I could have answered. It's often sung at rugby drink-ups. The verses I'm familiar with are more pun-ish: Yogi's got a 3 foot cock, black bear Suzy likes it on the fridge, polar bear Suzy's got a yeast infection, gummy bear Suzy doesn't like boy bears, klondike bear

Ok, this one has been driving me nuts for years now. I'm looking for the name of a tune, but I can't find it anywhere. I first heard it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=57FHvxOLNgk Then I heard it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l11GyqVu_-o I can't shake the feeling that somewhere out there, there is a tune both songs are based on. If I'm wrong then I don't know what, but if I'm right I'd really like to know that tune's name, because it sounds cool. A Worrying Warlock fucked around with this message at 22:21 on Apr 14, 2010 |

I am looking for a song I heard while I was working. It was a rock song I believe and part of the song had the singer like talking and then he yells "AND GO" or "Now GO" and the drums and poo poo kick in. Happened like two or three times throughout the song.

Ok so it's a catchy indie pop tune that came out maybe a year or two ago. there is whistling, a simple 4 note melody, and then the chorus goes something like "and we don't care about the young boys.. "

I think the songs name is "Evil". It's by a rock band, I think from Seattle, and the song is new. It sounded like part of the lyrics said "take the road south". edit: Nevermind, I gave searching the station's playlist archives a second try. It was "Evil" by Beads. This has been killing me for about three days and finally I mustered the composure to ask here. It's an electro song, reminiscent of 90s house music (has a Black Box thing going for it). I'm pretty sure it's a recent song, though, since the local electro music station only plays music younger than 2 years (except during oldies hour when it plays music between 3 and 5 years old!). I only managed to catch the following lyrics from it: "Gotta show me love again" "Show me, show me love" "I know you care" "I'm helpless" During the song, some guy also raps a single verse.
