3rd World Dictator posted:No clue if you will be able to find this. It is basically just another poppy club song, female vocals. The chorus is something like "I wanna see you againnnn" or "I'll never see you againnn" or something like that. Typical pause, and then the chorus comes in. Is it Cry For You - September?

I was at a club last weekend, and they were doing all kind of songs from the 90s, one them was a very groovy reggae track, with a dude singing/rapping the verse and a woman(if not several) singing the chorus. Thats about what i have.. Sounded kind of like something the fugees would do.. Anybody have a clue ? edit: i also think there is some " heeeeey " and " hoo hoo! " in the chorus.. I'm trying to find an mp3 that I downloaded off here sometime in the early 2000's. It was by a guy called Pred or something similar (definitely started with P), and it was an instrumental electronic track called something like, 'you tore my heart out then fed it back to me'. It wasn't a commercial track btw, pretty sure someone on these message boards either made it or knew the guy that did. It was seriously loving awesome, lost it in a hard drive crash. Variations might include: "you ripped my heart out then ..." "you broke my heart then ..." "you made me throw up my heart and then..." Just bought archives access, waiting for it to validate so I can search there too. Cheers

I'm looking for the name of the electronic artist who covered The Bee Gee's "Words". Their name is something like PVMM or PNVV. Basically they detuned the track and added ringmod to the voice, making it sound satanic. Thanks. Thank you, sir VVV Vilipede fucked around with this message at 21:11 on Jun 1, 2010 |

This one has been killing me for years. It's a soft rock/yacht rock sounding song with a saxophone hook. I think the singer is an african american male and the lyrics might have something like "no more dancing" or something. Definitely from the 1980s or earlier. I wish I had more, the saxophone part is the part everyone knows from the song. EDIT: It's not Caribbean Queen, but I did realize that I was close to describing that song. It doesn't have "no more dancing" but it does have "no more love on the run".

In Taco Bueno this morning I heard a song from my childhood that had an a Capella section on this riff, with the syllable "doo": Anyone know the song? I'm thinking it came out in the mid-late 80s or even early 90s.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F0A24j5-22k The Crosby Stills & Nash song was apparently sampled for this Cypress Hill / Marc Anthony (???) track released a few months ago. You could have heard this version too, I guess.

trying to find a song that came out a few years ago (2005-ish). the singer is a dude that sings with kind of a high pitch at some points. he pretty much bitches about how his girlfriend left him or it's about how lonely he is. he's only known for this one song and his artist name is his full name (i think). it's not the "f you i don't want you back" song.

Well, since this thread is here and I'm losing my mind, I'm looking for an industrial song from the early 90's. In retrospect, it kinda sounds like Nitzer Ebb, but it is not. The song goes something to the tune of: Look at me, look at me now, I'm kneeling on the floor, did you ever get the feeling you could take no more? With a chorus of: Dog like position is a man made condition (repeat) Thanks to anyone who can tell me the artist. This song goes through my head everyday at work, but then again I work in a stressful job.

There's this song I can't get my hand on, the general background music is exactly like this song from Bush - Mouth ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXOoUDyAxEc&feature=related ) as for the singer, he has a grunge rock kind of voice just like Bush/Nickelback. The song is rather calm and ambiant just like Mouth from Bush, a lots of electronic background with a strong drum presence. I don't remember the lyrics but these: (Verse:) I'm a waste, I'm a fake What the f*** was my mistake? I'm just the one that [...] on and on [...] (chorus:) I'm on the (1) side, (2)-ing it up, [...] I'm on the (1) side, (2)-ing it up [...] for you. (1) I think he says Bright or Wrong or Down, something like that. (2) I think he says f***ing or filling it up or f[...]ing something. Thanks to anyone who can find this song. I am also pretty much stuck trying to remember a song. It was an electronic song with some samples from The Prisoner on it. I thought the artist was called Twinn and the track title was Number Nine but all my google-ing and last.fm-ing has been turning up blank. I am pretty sure I got it off of SA a few years back so it may well have been created by someone here. Any help would be really appreciated.

Led Zeppelin song - I've googled and youtubed but can't find it It starts off 'Ahha ahhh ahhhhhhh, ahha ahhh ahhhhhh..." then it goes into a speedy beat and the lyrics are rapid fire like 'the cats in the cradle with a silver spoon' or something, at least that's the closest Google has lead me so far.

I was watching an episode of Private Practice, the third series, the other day and a song from the show just got stuck in my head. It's a really slow song with like a girl and an acoutstic guitar. It goes something like: hold on stronger to me someday soon ill find you Or something like that. It's been bugging me out like mad.

Heard a latin sounding song (sung in English) on the radio. It sounded Ricki Martin but less gay and a little more rocky. I only remember vague parts of the words, which were something like "let's never forget" or "let's not forget" It was hard to make out when driving along. Any ideas? Thanks.

I've been searching the house/electro thread but I can't seem to find it. Only thing i remember was the music video. It features a girl who cheats on her boyfriend with some other guy and it shows scenes of her with her current boyfriend (good times and bad times) and shows her getting on with the other guy. In the end, you think she's going to see the other guy but he ends up getting stood up and she ends up staying with her boyfriend.

Alright, this song is used in the beginning of the video game Blur, its a piece of an opera over a techno beat. I would swear that its from the same opera that was used in the movie Fifth Element, but I'm not positive. I could also swear the track in Blur was just a loop from a rap track, but for the life of me I cannot figure out what it is!!! Any help?
