This might be a tough one to figure out but the other day I heard this 80's-sh song. I can't remember the exact words and googling them doesn't bring up the right song. The chorus is repeated pretty often and it went something like: "I do everything for you but you do nothing for me" It was a catchy upbeat song with a male singer. I assume its 80s because something about the style reminds me of the new wave-ish pop/rock. Sadly thats all I remember and the chorus isn't even right since google brings up nothing.

Very much a throw back style, sounding a bit like The Byrds/Traffic. It may have been a side project of someone from another band. I swore that either the song I heard, or the name of the band was Journeyman or Journeymen. I only remember finding a blog article about them, and it contained an mp3. Any ideas? I'm only going by Australia/side project/name similar to Journeyman, but could it be Grinderman, the side project of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds?

I'm thinking of a pretty unsettling song. If I recall correctly, it had no lyrics or real vocals, but began with (and played simultaneously with) a very long sample of a woman and her daughter, talking about a car crash or a murderer or something. I think the title might have been "Car Crash", but I can't find anything for it. The music itself was kind of repetitive, amelodic guitars. It wasn't really my type of thing, so I can't describe it properly, but it might have shoegaze. I think the band might have been called just a letter and some numbers. vv Awesome, thank you. vv Cobweb Heart fucked around with this message at 16:09 on Sep 16, 2010 |

I saw the video for song on reddit probably around 8 months ago, and I can't find it anywhere. It's a Canadian, all-male, acoustic band, I believe acoustic guitars, mandolins, and fiddle were all included. Lyrically I can't remember much of the song, but it was a song with a strong, steady beat, that build and built through-out. Ends with some really big vocal harmonies and at the end they guys are all stamping their feet on the stage and belting the chorus. It's a pretty emotional song. Wish I could remember some solid snatches of the lyrics, but they escape me.

I heard this song last Friday on HipHopNation on Sirius when DJ Premier came by to spin a few records. The one song he played was really sick and the lyrics were something along the lines of "I get all the big rap artists together, we roll up our sleeves like che guevara" Anyone know what song it is?

Essentially it is a lot like Fergie's Glamorous, its slower and sounds relaxing. I believe there is just a girl singing in the song, at some points it is almost like she is talking since its very slow. I'm fairly positive the song was about love/relationship. I still remember a little tune from the song, there site that lets you make song/tune?

There was this one song. I don't remember too much about it - it was rap, from - I think - Sweden. The video had the members of the band walking through a city somewhere, and the main guy had glasses and a beard. The only actual lyric I remember, since it's recognizably English in origin, is the end of one line: "plastic exploden". Or something similar.
