Finished watching the first Stephen Hawking's Universe, it's good. I was expecting something like a documentary about the history of the universe but instead it's an hour of speculation about aliens and next week is about time travel. And Benedict Cumberbatch does the voice of Stephen Hawking.

Sup, brits. I watched Sherlock and enjoyed it, now I'm wondering what you guys though of that Luther show. Most reviews only speak of the first episode, and they say it's pretty ridiculous and average, so I'm wondering if the show got better before I try it out.

What the gently caress, sky3 is nothing like Virgin1. Virgin1 had star trek and x files. Sky3 had... uh... Dog Borstal? Is that still running? I watched that once. And one part of the election debates. loving Murdoch just stole all of freeview's sci-fi from me.

That episode of The Inbetweeners wasn't as out-and-out funny as I'd like and the ending was way too much (it's seriously reaching Peep Show levels in terms of misery for the main character) but holy poo poo I think that's the most accurate portrayal of the first drugs experience I've ever seen in any medium.

Holy poo poo you guys, Community is apparently (according to the creator) coming to the UK on the 5th of October, he just hasn't said what channel. I swear on everything I know and love, if this becomes the latest in a long line of awesome American shows that is snapped up by Channel 5 and shown on a sister channel at 3:00 on a Tuesday afternoon, I will break everything. Everything. (watch community because it is awesome) Cerv posted:Will freaking out was genuine, but the arm-spazzing was way too much I thought. Anybody else else watch Dispatches? As an ex-squaddie that program confirmed everything people at my level think, although it was basically a rip of Lewis Page's book. Highly recommended watching if you're interested in the MOD and missed it earlier. Also being "in a bubble" was pretty much spot on. Is it just mine or do everybody else's facebook news feeds read like a screenplay of the Inbetweeners?

Also I like that Simon has a hot girlfriend but ultimately it'll obviously end in some horribly embarrassing way which is a bit annoying. Some embarrassment is fine but like you said, it gets a bit much and detracts from the whole show if it's just non-stop misery and humiliation

VIVA, according to Wikipedia, looks like an MTV channel that just shows programmes rather than music and stuff, not really sure. Had to get past Philippine, Canadian and German channels called Viva to find it, so I don't think it bodes well. Looks like everything is getting broken. Also - who gets Sons of Anarchy if Bravo's going? I hope Sky get it, it's deserving of a bigger audience that Bravo + Five US get it.
