It should be noted I refuse to drink lager, so Koff and Karjala (which were cheap) were out of the question.

Are there any collectively owned micro-brews produced by secretive national socialist black metal warriors?

Gr31lly posted:Eh, you know the Irish consider London cheap, right? Well last summer during the Tuska festival was my last time drinking in Helsinki and the place I stumbled into with my friends had beers for 1.70€ untill 00:00am. And thats the cheapest i've ever seen anywhere. Normally its about 4.50-5€ for a beer. Edit: If you refuse to drink lager though then thats another thing entirely. Can't really blame the city for that. And starting a black metal band is hard when all you got is guitarists who want to play "progressive melodeath" and other drummers (who are better than you )

It actually got a very good review in the biggest newspaper in Norway. I wonder how long it'll be before Varg releases his own brand of aryan mead.

Coincidentally, yesterday I briefly considered starting a blog which matched wines with metal albums (insert Gorgoroth gag). The problem is that it would be geographically confined. And terrible. So how about the new Deathspell Omega? They've pared down their sound a little (compared to Fas) to the calculated chaos we know and love, and the new experimental directions of the post-something variety work amazingly. The last track blows me away every time.

SammyWhereAreYou posted:"Suds of Northern Darkness" "The average" for an imperial stout is about 9%, not 6, so 10% is hardly unusual. Regardless, that would be pretty awesome to drink at an Immortal show.

Wardruna probably did 1/4th of theirs in the Forest, if you consider their ambient water / wind / bird / etc. sounds, Kvitrafn went out with a portable recorder to get them. He mentioned that's one reason why it took him so long to finish it, getting the right equipment to record those sounds. edit: can anyone suggest the best Hate Forest album to start with ?
