Zugzwang posted:"Destiny" by Zero 7 has one of the most "holy poo poo, this is loving awesome" vocal performances I've ever heard. Hell yes, this is one of my all-time favorite chill songs. If you haven't already, check out the instrumental Red Dust, also by Zero 7. It's ridiculously groovy, probably their best song in my opinion. To contribute, just discovered this song from ye olde "Favorite Basslines" thread, and absolutely cannot stop playing it. The Stone Roses - "Breaking into Heaven"

Tron is a mediocre movie, but its soundtrack is incredible. Daft Punk's music fit the visuals so well that I wasn't even paying attention to the half-baked script; I was just appreciating the atmosphere. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DSx_N18TWjs

We are going back to 1995 for this one. Everclear's Heroin Girl. I loved that band before Art went bankrupt and their music turned to poo poo. Very errie song because "just another overdose" was what the cops said when they came upon Art's brother's body. How loving pissed would you be if the police trivialized your brother's death like that? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-DjpNgrocKo

I just got back off holiday in the States, and this song was being played about 8 times a day on the station we were listening to. Maybe I've been sort of brainwashed by it or something, but the lead guy has a really weird voice, so it stood out, especially given that the only other song the station played was Ke$ha's 'We R Who We R'.
