Has anyone heard Feed Me's album? It kicks a whole lot of rear end. Its tracks are all over the Beatport charts, which is great because it seemed like nobody appreciated him before. I guess that's the power of releasing on mau5trap, as can be seen by Skrillex's album too.

Anyway, if you haven't heard Feed Me, it's a side project by the drum 'n' bass producer Spor. He makes some epic electro house with really gritty bass, and there's even some dubstep on the album as well. You can listen to it here if you haven't already: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXDy7JTiiSs&feature=BF&list=PL6AB0138F81ECBB59&index=1

He's coming to Montreal soon! can't wait to see him

Straight up techno wise, you've got 36 hours of dj hell mixes here - http://soundcloud.com/electro-mix-memory/sets/dj-hell-lives-mixes
Most of those are downloadable apart from the first, which is a shame because it's one of the best.

You could also go through the artists list on a label like soma -
http://www.somarecords.com/artists/

Find mixes by them at random, if you like one then look to see where else they've had stuff released - check that label out, do some digging around there.
Spend an afternoon hunting for music, you'll find a shitload of awesome stuff around.

other labels to check include minus, cocoon, simple (they do a monthly mix on their site by someone on the label).
You can also use something like this to dig through and find names, each label of the month also does a mix of their sound too - http://www.residentadvisor.net/features.aspx?series=label

DJ Nekbath is pretty tight.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPp2RgHFk2s

Also: Le Knight Club.

Funny story, was making a jam today, was sampling B.B. & Band - Mistakes and ended up canning it, mostly because I didn't like the sample (it's a part in the bridge where the backup singers say "stylin, stylin" or, it sounds like it). Then I go browsing for more disco house like usual on youtube, come across this song and it is using the exact same sample I was. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gVFaNq8tEbI

I'm resurrecting Filtered Friday some time in February, so if you're into disco, that'll be the weekly thing to catch. In the meantime, I've been playing a lot of Go Go Bizkitt!, Phonat, Moullinex, The Phantom's Revenge (probably my favorite dude right now)..

There's a lot of classic disco house that I could recommend to you - Sebastien Leger, DJ Triple A, Kashmir, Rhythm Masters, Nekbath, Drexxel, Thomas Bangalter's solo stuff, Sedat the Turkish Avenger, The Dirty Prophet, Spiller, Demon, Roman Salzger, Dave Armstrong (some of his stuff anyway), CZR, Hatiras, Ben Delay, Denis Naidanow, Funk Chanel, there's a ton

Try anyone on here - http://www.audiomatique.com/index2.html
Some of it might be a little on the minimal side, but there are plenty of more driving tracks they've put out.

Plastic city might be worth a dig too - http://www.plasticcity.de/index.php

Dig in, check out any name mentioned, any other label they might be linked to - and get mixes as well as tracks. A suprising amount of electronic music is on spotify if you have that.

Hey guys, I was just recently introduced to house/electro music and wanted to get some recommendations from you of stuff I should start listening to. Last weekend, I went to a concert on the California Central Coast called Re-Edit and I had one of the best times of my life. I really enjoy dancing and good beats and can't believe I haven't been to a rave before this.

It is hard for me to communicate exactly what genre or what style of music I was listening to but I will try to give a few youtube examples of what I enjoyed.

This is dubstep. There is a thread dedicated to that type of EDM already in NMD -- you can probably find it on the front page. Dubstep, drum and bass, and other related forms of EDM have an entirely different genealogy than house/trance and so this is not the sort of music you are likely to find in this thread.

However, if you are interested in electro/dubstep cross-over I would recommend things like this:
