This is where I recommend having shazam on your phone at all time.

One night (board to tears) I was able to locate every single song a DJ was playing in their set.

Seconding both of those. Those two blogs are probably the best for finding a lot of what is going on. GDD every Friday posts about ten or so tracks, summarizing the previous week.

Also,

My one gripe about all of these blogs, though, is they are a pain if you like keeping your tags organized, but, then again, it helps me to remember to buy them from beatport.

One of the stages at the best festival ever just released its lineup, only most acts on that stage are funk house or break djs and I'm not much into that scene. I enjoy it though, so I'm looking for recommendations on any acts that are particularily worth checking out.

How can I find a dirty warehouse party in NYC next week without knowing anyone in the scene? Can't be 21+ and no dubstep.
Also I have tickets to see Dirty South At Pacha, pretty excited about that!

Saw them last Friday. Mustard pimps set was kind of flat. Surprised with the amount of dubstep Designer Drugs dropped. Last time I saw Designer Drugs they had an exceptional set...but they did follow kissy sells out (which if he shows up GO SEE) so I may of have had a more flattering memory of them.

Would this be the right place to talk about Innerpartysystem? I don't know where else I would talk about them in NMD.

They recently released "Never be Content". It's their six track EP. They decided to edit some of the tracks we've already heard a bit but it's still very good. I'm not 100 per cent a fan of the new direction they went since I liked the electro-rock sound of their first album, but this stuff is still quality to me.

I'm pretty sure it'll start right after the counter finishes, but judging from other videos on the site, it might be hosted on the site afterwards.

Also, there are some other acts streaming up until then. Right now a guy called Mondkopf is performing, and the quality looks really good for a free online stream: http://liveweb.arte.tv/fr/video/Mondkopf_a_la_Gaite_Lyrique/

Edit: Now it's Para One & Tacteel, after which comes Acid Washed and then Danger, I think. So far it's been pretty cool.

Edit 2: Apparently there are some sort of rights issues, so Danger isn't streaming live, but the video should be up later.
