I love Daft Punk and Bangalter's solo work, but I've always though that track would have been better with the right female vocalist. Different strokes for different folks, I suppose. Moving on to contributions...

Just singing the goddamn phrase "One More Time" and awkwardly dropping lyrics doesn't mean your lovely track has anything to do with Daft Punk. I mean, I want to stay nice and objective because to each their own, but gently caress. There's zero substance in that track. It's worthless.

Anyhow, I finally started playing around in Reason 5, and so far it's a blast. I've been intimidated by it for so long, and I know like the majority of you all use it every day at a semi pro level, but it feels good to finally sort of know what I'm doing. Hopefully in a few weeks I'll have a first track complete and we can all make fun of it :)

It's not just One More Time, they include lyrics & samples from like all their songs, and references like all the song titles.

Which makes it infinitely worse than just attempting to ruin one of Daft Punk's songs.

i guess it's all in context. like if i heard this for this in the late 80's for the first time without hearing any of those synth sounds before, then I guess it would be loving sweet.

i consider myself really open minded about music, but maybe i'm too young too appreciate it along with scene it had (or has?). i've tried listening to it but it really doesn't do it for me.

So I was looking for music that had a good flow with me, and I found Nu Disco.

Holy poo poo I've fallen in love with this genre :allears:

While looking through a great list by Salacious Sound, I happened upon Baby I'm Yours by Breakbot. The song is great, with a strong feeling of the best 70's music, and the video is one of the trippiest I've ever seen, incorporating his downright beautiful animation that looks like painted rainbow scratch paper.

I don't know if there is enough Justice fandom here to warrant it's own thread, but, the artwork for their newest release "Civilization" was posted by Justice on their facebook page. Some are saying blogs are reporting that it is a single, while others are saying that it will be a full album release. I'm guessing from the video on their facebook page that it will be an album.
