My friends are in the SF scene, and they actually told me about the idea of Metropolis a few months back but I didn't think much of it until this video just came out. Metropolis is the new project of the SF dj/producing group Pance Party. They basically just scrapped their old name and project, and are aiming for the fences on this one. Apparently one of them is some sort of genius engineer or something, and they've created some crazy light/live show ala Daft Punk. But shhhh you didn't hear it from me...

Actually I talked to Porter Robinson (when he opened for Skrillex) and he said he and Skrillex planned to collaborate at some point. The two are pretty good friends. PS- Porter's brother is a goon. If anyone is into pop electro with a kind of 8-bit twinge, I would highly recommend Stepdad. All their songs are unique, none of them really have the same feel and they do some dark sounding ones too. I love My Leather, My Fur, My nails.
