new Flocka and Bricksquad tapes dropped this week. They're both alright, but not too many really memorable tracks. Clap and Ball from Flocka (plus Grove St. Party) and Recently by Gucci and 50 Cent (he's doing adverbs now!!) are good though.

Skylar Grey's part sounds like Radiohead's Creep. And like the other poster said it's a lot of them blowing each other. That video was pretty cool though it reminds you how many legendary people Dre's brushed shoulders with. He's also pretty built now. Also there's so much gay product placement in that video.

The beat is mediocre as hell, which makes sense considering it was produced by Alex Da Kid. It sounds like every other song Alex Da Kid has produced. Also we have been waiting all this time for a real Dre single from Detox, and we get a song that isn't even produced by Dre?

I liked Dre's verse way more than Eminem's...the song kind of reminded me of Forgot About Dre, with the theme of how he's still working on making something amazing while everybody's just walked away from him.

Why did he go to Eazy-E's grave at the end of the video, though? Maybe I'm missing something, but post-NWA, what did Eazy ever do that was worthwhile, other than get dissed on The Chronic?

Because they were friends when they were younger, and they never got to bury the hatchet before he died? And after NWA, Eazy did 187um, and Str8 outta Muthafukkin' Compton, which are both pretty nice, plus he signed Bone Thugs.

more attributable to Dresta da Gangsta and BG Knocc Out than Eazy but whatever. Also, he signed Bone Thugs (and technically the Black Eyed Peas but I've never listened to the album they recorded for Ruthless).

Anyway how do you listen to hip-hop and not know the story of Eazy and Dre's death-bed reconciliation?
