Yeah that's some of the stuff I was looking up. If all that is to be believed (and don't know how you'd fake a tattoo) I think that's the most shameful rap-beef ever. I mean it's one thing to get slapped or w/e, but to have people force you to get a tattoo removed?

Also I was just thinking that you're better off naming yourself "Young ____" than "Yung _____" cause the former don't seem to get embarrassed at nearly the same rate. I would posit that contrary to what people would probably think, most rappers are extremely focused on proper spelling, and dropping the "o" just infuriates them.

Goddamn that sample has been in a lot of songs. I recognized it from Big Daddy Kane's "Young Gifted and Black", and Atmosphere did a sort of homage to it with "YGM". I just looked it up on WhoSampled and it's been in like a dozen tracks.

I like 2DBZ a lot as far as national rap blogs go. They are doing it right. Fresh Selects (frshslcts.net) is my regional favorite cause they push Northwest/Portland hip hop.

I don't know if it was an actual viable collab, but it's viable that it's an actual collab, nahmeen? Also, was that the song where Timb raps something about Tee-Pees or Feathers or something "Indian" even though MIA is the other kind of "Indian?" I remember laughing so hard when I heard that line.

That's pretty much how I listen to rap too, just running through crews/labels until I've exhausted them and then I move on to the next one- gently caress a coast or scene, if it's rap or even something like rap I'll try it. But I loved that Juggaknots poo poo that ODB posted a LOT, so I've been stuck on that for the last few days. That Prince Among Thieves thing will probably be the next album I get.

The nanny thing was more a crack at the accent (and him being soft).

Yo man, some people listen to rap they didn't find on a Starbucks sampler CD. Now you're obviously not one of those dudes. But if you really are too dense to understand not everyone hears their rap in a coffee shop, maybe it's not the genre for you.
