I honestly don't understand the hype for Swedish House Mafia at all. According to the standards set by this this thread, I have a godawful taste in Electronic Dance Music, but even I can say that they are a cliché borefest. They touch on all the most trite and overused musical memes and repeat them over and over again ad infinitum...

Saw this pop up on RA: Swedish House Mafia have accused fellow producers of “raping” dance music. Quoting it because I can't find the daily mail article so the above link is a google cache. quote:SWEDISH House Mafia have accused fellow producers of “raping” dance music.

Well since everyone else seems to be pimping their poo poo I figure its time I do it too! After messing with mixing tracks for the first time ever a little over a month ago, about two weeks back I recorded a mix, mostly letting it be heard by friends of mine who are more involved with electronic music than I am, mostly local DJs in the 757 area of Virginia. Surprisingly, they claim it's rather good, so I was wondering if you far more experienced people could critique it and let me know what you guys think. I messed up once or twice, but I'm mostly attributing it to the nerves of putting together my first mix. http://soundcloud.com/styliferous/heres-a-thing-i-did quote:TRACK LISTING Let me know what you think!

The Sun is a UK newspaper well known for printing complete and utter bollocks and they recently paid a lady (which they're denying) to pretend she injected botox in her 8yr old kid's face for pageants... I like to think of it as The Onion but in newspaper format and with more tits.
