Figured I'd be the first to say that Maurice Lamarche was dead-on: "The Late Philip J. Fry" is up for a 2011 Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Animated Program! ... and its competition is The Cleveland Show, Robot Chicken, The Simpsons and South Park. If Futurama loses, we riot.

I really hope it wins. A lot of people were raving about the cornucopia of references in the latest episode, and "The Late Philip J. Fry" is another good example of that. Also, does anyone feel the commentaries for this last season weren't that great? I enjoy geeking out to them, but it sounded like their heads were still spinning from being renewed again and not knowing if they would be yet again.
