Soup in a Bag posted:Are you sure? Is there something special you have to do? I've tried searching by label, but it doesn't find anything unless there happens to be a label compilation (i.e. the label name is part of an album name). That's one feature I used all the time on Lala and now I miss it. Did you try searching like this: label:"label name" ?

How do you find playlists that are being shared? I subscribed to the Rolling Stone 500 Greatest Songs that I saw a friend had shared, but I don't know how to search for more playlists like this.

KingKapalone posted:There must be some way of finding them just using the program. I want to find some metal compilations. Yeah, I really wish playlists were integrated into the application; it seems like such a missed opportunity. Here are a handful of potentially useful searches: label:"relapse records" label:"nuclear blast" label:"Tee Pee Records" label:"deathwish" label:"hydra head" label:"neurot recordings" I also just realized I don't pay attention to record labels with metal bands I like, so there are plenty other big ones I'm missing, depending on your flavor of metal.

I noticed that a Pandoraesque "artist radio" feature is available to US residents now. I'm liking it, has anyone seen if they have other type or radio features like by genre?

(the long version) i'm on a poo poo connection (in this day and age I know) until the end of the month and I love using Spotify while I play SC2. Though the upload/streaming lags me so much in SC2 that I usually have to pick one or the other is there anyway to disable the upload for the p2p poo poo?

Leave the p2p stuff for the free users or the limited users.

I think for people experiencing lag, it's probably Spotify downloading music into the cache rather than the upload. This is especially noticeable if you're on a poo poo connection (like me! 3 mbit woo) because it will max your download for a few seconds and then nothing, then max your download, then nothing, etc. If it were a constant download then it wouldn't really be a problem.

Just wanted to say this is amazing and it really is worth paying $5 a month at least to kill the ads. Getting into a rhythm in a video game and have it hosed by a spoken in house ad sucked. Although I never noticed a limit on number of plays with the free version, I played some tracks 10 or 20 times. Did they get rid of that?

In 6 months there will be a 10 hour total listening time per month limit and a 5 play per song limit per month unless you pay.
