There is a show on TLC titled The Lottery Changed My Life. Shows what people did with the winnings and talks about their old jobs and occasionally have a sad story. Not sure about online availability.

I watched Burning Man: Beyond Black Rock today and thought it was pretty good. It shows all of the planning behind Burning Man, follows a few artists as they create their projects for it (Though I thought it didn't spend enough time following them) and shows the event itself, from I think 2004. Criminals Gone Wild (not really recommending this film, but if you have seen it I would like your thoughts) Criminals Gone Wild is a documentary film directed and produced by Ousala “FD” Aleem through his Brooklyn-based media studio FD Entertainment. The film was originally released and distributed by Aleem in November 2007. The film was later distributed Nationally through MVD. Some of you may remember a another documentary film also located on DocumentaryStorm called Crackheads Gone Wild, which shares the style of Criminals Gone Wild. The film chronicled the lives of several alleged criminals on rampages of crime sprees of robberies, assaults, carjacks and murders. The film received huge controversy in the news media regarding the authenticity of the crimes filmed in the movie. Whether the documentary is true or not is still up for debate. One of my favorite documentaries, The Eyes of Tammy Faye, is up on youtube in its entirety now. If you haven't seen it, I really recommend it. Bazaar Bizarre – The Strange Case of Bob Berdella In 1988, Chris Bryson was found running down a Kansas City street naked, beaten, and bloody wearing nothing but a dog collar and a leash. He told police about Bob Berdella, a local business man and how Berdella had captured him, held him hostage, raped him, tortured him, and photographed him over several days. Police later arrested Berdella and searched his mid-town Kansas City home where they found several hundred polaroid photographs, a detailed torture log, envelopes of human teeth and a human skull. It was soon discovered that Berdella had murdered six young men in his home after drugging them and performing his sick acts of sexual torture. He met a couple of the victims at his business, a small shop called “Bob’s Bizaare Bazaar” where he sold artifacts from around the world related to the darker side of human nature for people with jaded tastes.Some lived the horrors for only a few days, one for six weeks. After death, Berdella would cut up the bodies with an electric chain saw and a bone knife, place the body parts in empty dog food bags, put them into large trash bags setting them out for trash collection on Monday. I just got done watching The Virgin Daughters. It's about the American Evangelical Purity Ball movement, where girls (some as young as 5) make an oath to their fathers to be "pure" until their wedding day, and their fathers vow to protect them from other men by completely controlling their relationships. A documentary about the Chimpanzees of Fongoli, Chimps living outside the normal jungle range of most Chimpanzees, who show some unusual and never before seen skills, including fashioning spears to hunt Bush babies in tree hollows. Love a good Great Ape documentary. Anyone got any good ones to share?

I should have put that it was not good, but more of a novelty watch of how wild a film can be made about a serial killer. So yeah, you got a preview of enough. My apologies for misrepresenting it though, because it is disturbingly campy and bad.

Empire of the Desert Ants Just got down watching this awesome documentary. Yes it is about tiny ants, but they actually have some very amazing footage. I've always wanted to see a documentary about ants, and to get an inside look to the homes they build. What I saw was much more then I could even imagine was going on down there.
