At Ultra this year, they played live using the huge sound plugy-iny thing. A mix of the hard techno from Delicacies and some of their older songs. I will always remember yelling the words to Audacity of Huge. Bio-diesel dirigible, b b baby its choice... Also, heard some bros here like disco: http://soundcloud.com/cream-dream

Yeah that track is Really Really Bad, but I guess that's what happens when you go on a 3 year bender instead of actually honing your music making ability Battle Cattle posted:Simian Mobile Disco live will change your life. Other than the Chemical Brothers, I think they're the best pure live act around these days. Their new light rig is great and all but the thing that sets them apart from everybody else is their ability to continuously re-contextualize their tracks in interesting and enjoyable ways. They make such great use of sonic space, they're a joy to see live.

I think a lot of Justice's popularity was from the novel aspect of a new, French sound. Check out Canblaster and the rest of Club Cheval.

Can you guys recommend me someone similar to Russ Chime's? http://soundcloud.com/russchimes/sets/russ-chimes-originals/ I am so far into dubstep that I've forgotten about my beloved house and electro. I need some new beats. Anything like Boys Noize, Justice, Daft Punk; that kinda stuff. I know it's generic as poo poo but I need a jumping off point. Here are some soundclouds you should check out: Over The Top Madeon - he's been posted so many times in this thread but it bears repeating because the kid is amazing. Alex Metric - Pretty hit and miss but his remix of Lisztomania by Phoenix is class. Avoid the Sabotage remix like the plague. Vanguard - May be a goon, can't remember. Louis La Roche Steed Lord Grum Treasure Fingers Sorry about the linkdump. If you want to check out a compilation in that vein then the Hed Kandi Nu-Disco cd is pretty good.

Speaking of Alex Metric, he had an essential mix recently and if you're into the indie dance stuff it's really good stuff.
