I'm loving the new Hybrid single Blind Side, and I'm particularly glad they're still using Charlotte James as a vocalist. I've also been listening to Way Out West's We Love Machine (as in, the whole album) repeatedly lately.

It doesn't have to be exactly like Cross. I mean, that was an excellent album and I didn't expect them to top it, but the songs that have been released from the new album so far have felt pretty underwhelming to me. They don't have to release more songs exactly like D.A.N.C.E. or Waters of Nazareth or Stress, but when I think Justice, I think infectious tunes that won't leave my head no matter what, and none of the tracks so far have done that for me.

Helix makes me more hopeful for the album, and I'm fine with not being a "banger". Changing things up is fine, and hopefully the album is filled with some fun tracks. But more importantly, Mr Oizo's new album better blow my mind. It's apparently going to be released very soon. HYPE.

Ladytron's Gravity the Seducer was released today. I'm not a fan of their experimental tracks, I prefer the soothing synths and lyrics of Ace of Hz, White Elephant, and Melting Ice. I reckon I might need to play this album a few more times to try and get used to it though.

Honestly, the only DJ Mehdi track I've ever heard is "Signatune [Thomas Bangalter Edit]", but goddamn that track ruled. That really sucks. He was only 34, too  R.I.P., dude.
