Wolfgang Gartner just released his album on iTunes, and it should be on Beatport in a couple of hours. Half of it's classic Wolfgang bangers, and the other half sounds like Top 40. I like them bangers, personally -- stuff like Cognitive Dissonance.

Seeing as I've already bought one third of the tracks on it I think I'm feeling a liiiiittle let down as I've kinda spoiled the album for myself but what else is here is good poo poo. Dude just put his head down and turned poo poo out. Shrunken Heads and The Champ are favourites at the moment and the opening track is a good-un too. Welcome Back is funky as poo poo too, Gartner did good on this album for sure.

I was concern his thing was a flash/novelty act as he played the whole rap misogyny persona up to satirical levels (he amusingly dorky in real life), but teaming up with boys Noize and Mark Ronson already sounds like an awesome album. Hopefully there is a XXXchange produced track on there, for old times sake Hopefully we'll see a release of his best song ever on the album or a b-side.
